Meet Dr. Haber

Dr. Derek Haber was born in Miami to Cuban parents. Having grown up in Miami, he is fluent in both English and Spanish. He attended Florida International University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Art in Chemistry and graduated Cum Laude. Dr Haber then received his dental degree from the prestigious Ivy League institution the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated at the top of his class. He continued his training at the University of Florida and received a certificate in Periodontics and a Master’s of Dental Sciences with a focus on Oral Biology. Following school, he worked in Miami as a periodontist for many years. His love and passion for dentistry influenced him to continue his training in New York City, where he got a certificate in orthodontics at St Barnabas Hospital.

Dr. Haber is a highly skilled clinician with a gentle hand, as well as a warm and caring personality. His patients feel very comfortable and at ease under his care.
